1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing, accessing, or using the “Prompt Helio” Chrome extension (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must uninstall the extension and discontinue use immediately.
2. Description of Service
Prompt Helio provides AI-powered tools for enhancing productivity on chat platforms, including prompt management libraries, note-taking capabilities, and UI customization. The Service integrates with third-party platforms (including OpenAI and Google Gemini) to function.
3. User Accounts
- Registration: Some features (e.g., cloud sync, public libraries) require you to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information.
- Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
- OAuth: If you log in using Google or Facebook, you authorize us to access specific information from those profiles as described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Acceptable Use Policy (Strict Enforcement)
To ensure a safe environment, we enforce a Zero Tolerance Policy regarding prohibited content in our Public Libraries (Text & Image).
A. Prohibited Content You may not upload, share, or publish any content that:
- Contains sexually explicit material, pornography, or “18+” content.
- Promotes hate speech, violence, or illegal acts.
- Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
B. Ban Policy & Enforcement We use automated systems and manual review to monitor public uploads. Violations result in the following actions:
- First Violation: Your account will be suspended for 24 hours. You will lose access to all cloud features during this period.
- Second Violation: Your account will be permanently terminated. All your data will be deleted, and you will be permanently banned from the Service.
C. Technical Abuse You agree not to:
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service’s servers or networks.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the extension.
- Bypass our rate-limiting or authentication measures.
- Use the Service for automated scraping or “botting.”
5. User Content
- Ownership: You retain ownership of the prompts and notes you create.
- License to Us: By setting your content to “Public” in the libraries, you grant Prompt Helio a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display that content within the Service for other users to access.
- Private Data: Content marked as “Private” remains accessible only to you and is encrypted/secured via Row Level Security.
6. AI Disclaimer
The Service utilizes artificial intelligence (including Google Gemini and OpenAI models) to generate text and images.
- No Guarantees: We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or safety of AI-generated outputs. AI models may “hallucinate” or produce incorrect information.
- User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content before using or relying on it.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Prompt Helio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of your use or inability to use the Service.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the “Effective Date” at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
